Back To Qur'an Reveals Speed of Light
Merits of RamadanIt was narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayrah, may Allaah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allaah, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: “When the month of Ramadhaan starts, the gates of Heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained.” [Al-Bukhaari and Muslim] Another version reads: “When the first night of the month of Ramadhaan comes, the
devils and rebellious Jinn are chained up and the gates of Hell are
closed, and not one gate of it is opened. The gates of Paradise are
opened and not one gate of it is closed. A caller cries out, ‘O seeker
of good, proceed; O seeker of evil, desist.’ Allaah saves some people
from Hell - and that happens every night.” [At-Tirmithi and
Ibn Maajah][Al-Albaani: Saheeh]
“O seeker of good, proceed!” is a call to the people who want to do good
deeds to proceed, because this is their opportunity for doing good
deeds as they will be rewarded generously for every little effort.
“O seeker of evil, desist!” is a call to the people who want to get
involved in evil deeds to stop and repent, because this is the time for
repenting to Allaah The Almighty.
In a third version, the Prophet, sallallaahu
‘alayhi wa sallam, gave glad tidings to his Companions, saying: “There
has come to you Ramadhaan, a blessed month. Allaah has made it
obligatory for you to fast in it. In this month, the gates of Heaven are
opened and the gates of Hell are locked, and the rebellious devils are
chained up. In it there is a night that is better than a thousand
months, and whoever is deprived of its goodness is deprived indeed.”
[An-Nasaa’i and Ahmad]
It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah and Abu
Sa‘eed, may Allaah be pleased with them, said that the Messenger of
Allaah, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: “Allaah has people whom He saves (from Hell) every day and night
(in Ramadhaan) and every one of them has a supplication that will,
indeed, be fulfilled.” [Ahmad and At-Tabaraani: authentic
chain of narrators]
It was narrated on the authority of Jaabir,
may Allaah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allaah,
sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: “Allaah
has people whom He saves (from Hell) at each time of Iftaar (breaking
tha fast), and that is every night (of Ramadhaan).” [Ibn
Maajah] [Al-Albaani: Hasan Saheeh[
Benefits and rulings:
The opening of the gates of Paradise during
the month of Ramadhaan does not mean that they will be always opened.
Also, the noble verse tells about the opening of such gates on the Day
of Judgment. Likewise, the closing of the gates of Hell during the month
of Ramadhaan does not contradict the verse that says with regard to
Hell (what means): {Until, when they
reach it, its gates are opened.} [Quran 39:71] This is
because the gates of Hell may be closed before the time the doomed
people reach it.

Allah says: "For We assuredly sent amongst every People (nation) a Messenger, (with the Command), "Serve Allah (alone), and eschew Evil(Taghut: Satan, false gods, etc.)": of the People were some whom Allah guided, and some on whom error became inevitably (established). So travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those who denied (the Truth)." [Al Quran Chapter an-Nahl (16): 36]

Note:All references to the words Jesus, Christ, Christian and Christianity are used in correct etymological context on this website as these words are of Greek origin. Jesus meaning "The Zeus" or the god will only be used in parenthesis for the sake of Christian reference. Many Christians argue that Jesus means "Joshua" which is a fabrication. Yehoshua, Yehoshu, Yeshu = Joshuah, as referenced Exodus 17:9. Thus in the English translation the name Jesus would have been used instead of "Joshua". In Acts 2:32 we find the Greek translation of "Iesoun". In Aramaic this name is Esaou and in Arabic the same name is "Easa or Isa" for Jesus son of Maryam. We can clearly see that "Yeshuah" is NOT Jesus, but Joshua. The proper name of Easa (Jesus) son of Maryam (peace be upon him) will be used. Nazarenism (Christianity), Nazarenes (Christians) and Messih/Messiah (Christ)are the proper terms which are used throughout this site.
